ALEXANDRIA, VA  June 1, 2010 – Kingfisher Systems, Inc., a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) specializing in providing National Security support to the U.S. government, has named Chris Harris, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Vice President of Technology.  He will lead Kingfisher Systems, Inc. internal technology efforts, pursue additional business opportunities related to Information Technology (IT), and lead projects supporting National Security.

Chris Harris joined Kingfisher Systems, Inc. in June 2010 with more than 16 years of progressive management responsibilities. Mr. Harris recently served over four years as the CTO of iCore Networks, designing and implementing “Software as a Service (SaaS)” applications, primarily Hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions. In 2009, iCore Networks was ranked number 29 on the Inc. 500.  He also envisioned and managed the iCore Federal Systems Division from 2006 to 2009.

Prior to joining iCore Networks, he spent over eight years at Gray Hawk Systems culminating his career as the Vice President of Information Systems, where he assisted in the technical phase of the acquisition that was completed with ManTech International Corporation in June 2005.  Mr. Harris also served in the U.S. Navy where he designed, installed, and managed the shipboard network architecture, which was used fleet-wide on AEGIS class cruisers.

Mr. Harris has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems – Internetworking Technology.
